Smoking Shelters - Ensure you are compliant with the new smoking shelter regulations

If you wish to provide a smoking shelter for your employees or visitors you need to be aware of the regulations concerning its construction. You can no longer provide ‘smoking rooms’ as all smoking areas must have an opening which is half the area of the wall. If not it is viewed as being ‘substantially enclosed’ and in breach of the regulations.

All LIS Smoking shelters fulfil the 50% open rule

LIS Products offer a full range of smoking shelters, from canopies, awnings and fabric shelters to fixed steelwork and self assembly shelters.

LIS smoking shelters are a practical, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing solution to accommodate any number of smokers and they are all designed with the 50% open rule in mind.

We recognise that no one site is the same and as such use the latest CAD software to enable a bespoke design and manufacture facility.

Accessories and Options
Our smoking shelters come with a range of options such as cigarette bins and ashtrays, signage, lighting, heating and seating ensuring your shelter is warm, welcoming and comfortable.

LIS provide four major types of smoking shelters. However, any of our open fronted shelters can be adapted to smoking shelters upon request whilst ensuring they still meet the 50% open rule.

The Crestwood Smoking Shelter provides excellent weather protection and are available with roof and back polycarbonate cladding as standard, optional side panels are available for additional weather protection. LIS Crestwood smoking shelters provide a cost effective, weather resistant and attractive solution.

The Oakham Smoking Shelter is a simple design aimed at businesses needing to provide cost effective smoking facilities for their staff.

The Derby Smoking Shelter is a practical cost effective design aimed at businesses needing to provide smoking facilities for their staff. The Derby smoking shelter can be supplied on a delivery only / self assembly basis

Tunnel Smoking Shelters are a simple design to accommodate small number of people providing weather protection, transparent cladding for the roof, sides and an optional back panel. The tunnel smoking shelter will comfortably fit into a car parking space and can provide access from both ends.
